CHAPTER TWO

He then stops the recordings, and moves over to pick up his acoustic guitar. He goes out onto the porch that wrapped around the shack and sits down on one of the chairs. He then began strumming the acoustic guitar, finishing singing the rest of his song.

"It almost feels like it was just a dream, all these memories of you and me."

Later that night, he heard talking outside of his and Corey's dorm room. Alex wondered who it was since everyone was supposed to be in their dorms by now. Since Corey was watching a movie on his phone and had his headphones in he didn't bother to be quiet as he made his way to the door. He opened it, peeking his head out to see what was going on.

He furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed Carlos and Jay standing near their dorm room with Dude. He opened the door more and stepped out into the hallway. "What are you guys doing back? And where are the others?"

Carlos and Jay look at him with wide eyes. They didn't expect to run into Alex and they were hoping they wouldn't so they didn't have to tell him his brother got captured.

"Uh..." The two boys look at each other with panic, not really knowing what to say.

"Ben's got captured." Dude said.

Alex's eyes widened, looking down at Dude with surprise. "Am I going crazy or did he just talk?"

"Yeah, he can talk now." Carlos nodded. Alex looks at him with wide eyes, silently urging Carlos to explain how Dude can talk. Carlos nervously. "It's a long story."

"Okay...But is Ben seriously captured? What happened?" Alex looks at the boys with concern, wondering what happened on the Isle.

"He got captured, and we're gonna make a fake wand to get him back." Jay responded.

"I'm going with you." Alex immediately said. He noticed that they looked like they were about to protest, but he pointed at them. "I'm going with you whether you like it or not. I wanna help save my brother."

"What about Auradon?" Carlos asks him. "Aren't you, you know, King while Ben isn't here?"

Nodding his head, Alex purses his lips together. "Technically yes, but Auradon will be fine while I'm gone. I'm sure my parents will take care of it. And besides, saving Ben is more important."

"Okay. But you're gonna have to change clothes." Jay told him. 

Alex looks down, just then remembering that he had on red and black plaid pj pants and an Auradon hoodie. "Yeah, okay."

"It might take awhile for the wand to be made, so meet us back in our dorm when you're done." Carlos said to him and Alex nods. "'Kay, sounds good."

Alex went back to his shared dorm, glad that Corey fell asleep. He closed the door behind him and then got changed. He decided on wearing a blue shirt, black jeans, a black leather jacket, and black shoes that faded out into white around the bottom. There was even a chained that was hooked stylishly on his jeans.

By the time he got to Carlos' and Jay's dorm room he noticed that the boys had fallen asleep while waiting for the wand to be made. He also noticed that the wand was finished. He couldn't believe at how similar it looked to the real thing.

"Boys!" He shouted, slapping his hands on both of their shoulders to wake them up. The two of them jumped up, looking at him with wide eyes.

 Alex chuckles and crosses his arms. "You two fell asleep." He points at the 3D printer. "Oh, and by the way, the wand's done."

Carlos and Jay look back at the 3D printer where the finished product of the wand is being kept. Carlos opens it and takes the wand out. He smiles. "Not bad."

"Yeah." Jay nods in agreement and he looks at Alex and Carlos. "Let's go."

The three boys head to the door and stop when Dude speaks up. "Hey, guys, what about me?"

"No, Dude." Carlos points at the dog laying on his dog bed. "I'm serious. Stay."

Dude whines as the three boys leave the room and rushes out of the building to where the limo was parked. Right before they got to the limo they ran into Lonnie and Alex noticed she was carrying swords on her back.

"I'm coming with you guys." Lonnie spoke in a determined tone, looking at them with crossed arms.

Alex, Carlos, and Jay chuckled nervously. "What? We don't need swords at the...Waffle Hut." Jay lied.

Alex groans and facepalms. "That was such a bad lie."

"You're going to the Isle to rescue Ben." Lonnie said. She shrugs. "Look, it's either you take me or I'm gonna to have to tell Fairy Godmother."

Alex shares a nervous look with Carlos and Jay. "Yeah, I think we should take her with us."

Carlos nodded in agreement and Lonnie let out a squeal of excitement. She then wrapped her arms around Jay and Carlos as the four of them walked toward the limo.

Alex had no idea what he was expecting the Isle to look like, but he was still surprised at how dark and gloomy the place seemed to be. Once the limo was parked in an area near a tunnel, they were going to meet Mal and Evie, Jay told them he would get the swords out and Carlos went to help him.

"Lonnie." Mal gasped when she noticed the girl. Lonnie walked over to her and Evie. "I made them bring me."

"Oh, I'm so glad." Mal smiled and the two girls hugged.

"Hi. Welcome to the Isle." Evie said to Lonnie while they hug. After they pull away, Evie smiles at her. "It's good to see you."

Lonnie smiles back at her. "You too."

"Alex, what are you doing here?" Evie questioned when she saw Alex walk around the limo to where they stood.

"You're crazy if you thought I wouldn't help save my brother." Alex answers. He walks over to Mal, pulling her into a hug. "I'm glad you're okay."

"Thanks." Mal smiles and hugs him back. "And I'm glad you came too. We'll need all the help we can get."

After they pulled away from the hug he moves to stand in front of Evie. He looks at her with a nervous expression. "Are you mad at me for coming with them?"

"No." Evie shakes her head, looking at him with a small smile. "I had a feeling that you were going to do this."

"I'm glad you're okay." Alex told her as he pulled her into a hug.

Hugging him back, Evie sighs in content. "I missed you." She admits which caused a smile to form on his face. He hugs onto her tighter, not wanting to let her go yet. "I missed you too."

"By the way, you look really cute in that outfit." Evie whispered to him. he smiled shyly and he felt his face heat up, making him know that he's now blushing.

They pull away from the hug when Carlos and Jay then walk over with the fake wand and the swords. That's when Alex noticed Dude. "I thought he was staying back at the dorm?" Alex said, but it sounded more like a question and looked at Carlos and Jay with confusion.

"He apparently flunked obedience class." Carlos sighed.

"Ooh. Here, let me see." Mal reaches towards the wand and Carlos hands it to her. "Wow, that's a beauty." She looks at everyone with raised eyebrows. "Alright, are we ready?"

"Yeah." Evie nodded.

"Let's do this." Mal commented, leading the group through the tunnel. Alex took a deep breath as he follows Evie, wondering what he just brought himself into.

A/N here's chapter two of the second descendants movie! i'm sad to say there's just a few more chapters left! but i'm super excited to start writing the third movie! don't forget to vote & comment
