xiangling and you laughed in delight as some customers chugged down water or milk while others ate as if it was something normal. regardless how they ate, everyone asked for more.

"wahhhhhhh!!!" hutao screamed happily as you handed her a glass of water. she opened her mouth and fire seemed to sprew out. she pushed the glass of water aside and kept taking bites. "this... this is the spiciest thing ive ever eaten!"

xingqiu, who was busy using his hydro elements to provide more water for the dying locals, nodded in agreement. "i have to agree with hutao, this was really something different. it's so different that it almost seems deadly."

xinyan was pumped, eating more bowls than you had anticipated. she was challenging a few locals.

you and xiangling were happy that your signature fire chilli stew turned out to be a success. now all you had to do was pour a little of this chilli stew into your usual popsicles for chongyun just to mess with him.

you told xiangling to take care of things for a while while you grabbed some chili for home. you knew chongyun was going to steer far from the restaurant today as he knew what you and xiangling wanted to do; but what he didn't know was that you were going to let him have a taste as well~

you mixed the chilli stew with the cold dazzle of the cold mountains and made a beautiful mixed red and blue popsicle with small sakura petals stuck at the red bottom. you made two so you could taste it too as well as him.

you knocked on the door. "hey yunnie? im home."

chongyun opened the door and before you could say anything, he came and hugged you happily, welcoming you back. "hello dear, how was business after the new creation?"

you smiled and removed your shoes and stepped inside. "it was great! you should have seen it."

chongyun smiled nervously. "ah, no thanks dear, id much prefer to stay home," he then helped you remove your jacket and placed your bag on the table. he was happy to see you, and just wanted to sit on the couch with you to talk.

you kinda felt bad about what you wanted to do since he was being so sweet and cute right now, so you just kept the popsicles on the bowl and placed it on the table near your bag. maybe you could give it to him next time, since these never melted.

"come here dear," chongyun extended his arm towards you as he sat on the couch. you took his hand and he pulled you towards him, wrapping his arms around your body as he showered your head with kisses and stroked your arms. "i missed you whole morning."

your heart skipped many beats, he was being so sweet. he ran his hands through your hair and kissed your cheeks and corners of your eyes. you blushed when he kissed slightly below your chin, and nudged away a little. "nnnngg chongyun..."

"hm?" he hummed, and hugged you close to him, pressing his face on the nape of your neck to inhale your scent of flowers. he moved his hand to yours and intertwined your fingers with his as he kissed the nape of your neck gently, wrapping his legs around your body as well. "i love you."

your body was practically melting at this point, he was so soft. his voice was like silk, and you melted right into his warm yet cold touch. you leaned into him and he laid himself down so you could lie comfortably on his chest. "i love you too."
