(scene opens to inside the Dino Patroller where Everest is among her friends who are happy she could tag along)
Skye: It's great you could join us, Everest!
Everest: I'm happy to be here too! And to check out the Dino Wilds!
Marshall: It'll be great seeing Rex again!
Everest: Yeah! (concerned) Also I hope Mason is okay?
Rocky: Huh? Is something wrong with Mason?
Everest: He's alright, but Mayor Humdinger stole a demon chi infused meteor crystal from him! At least that's what I saw at Jake's cabin before Mason told me he would handle it!
Chase: If Mayor Humdinger has a meteor crystal that's big trouble!
Rocky: Technically, Mason said he had access to special meteor crystals that granted specific powers!
(scene goes to outside as the Dino Patroller enters the cave leading to the Dino Wilds just before Mayor Humdinger reveals himself but with larger muscles)
Mayor Humdinger: (evil laugh) Those pesky pups won't ruin my schemes ever again if I trap them in the Dino Wilds, forever! (looks at the demon chi infused meteor crystal he had stolen) (unsure) I'm pretty sure this has earth demon powers? (shrugs) (hands glow before he manipulates the ground causing the entrance to the Dino Wilds to be sealed with a huge rock)
Mayor Humdinger: (cheers) Yes! Nobody can stop me anymore! (looks around) I better keep going before Mason catches up! (runs off)
(several minutes later)
(Mason arrives tracking Mayor Humdinger's scent)
Mason: He was here several minutes ago! (notices the entrance to the Dino Wilds) Uh oh! I'd better call Ryder! Also that explains why he talked about wanting a crystal to obtain earth demon powers? (pulls his phone out of his satchel)
(scene changes to Dino Vet Center where the team exits the Dino Patroller)
Rex: (comes over with Taylor Turbot) Hi guys!
Taylor: It's great seeing familiar faces from friends!
Ryder: It's great seeing you too Taylor and Rex!
(Pup-pad ringing)
Chase: (surprised) I wonder who's calling us already?
Ryder: I'll check! (answers) Mason, is something wrong?
Mason: Thank goodness you answered Ryder, there's a huge problem!
Ryder: What's wrong?
Mason: If Everest didn't tell you, Mayor Humdinger stole a demon chi infused crystal from my satchel while I was at Jake's cabin! The crystal gave him earth demon powers!
Ryder: Oh boy!
Mason: I can track him down, but I thought I'd let you know something important!
Ryder: What's that Mason?
Mason: (shows the entrance to the Dino Wilds) Mayor Humdinger must've used the earth demon powers to seal the entrance!
Ryder: (gasps) Uh oh! That's not good!
Mason: Unless I can get the special crystal back, I'm afraid you're all stuck in the Dino Wilds!
Ryder: Oh boy!
Everest: (walks over) Ryder, is something wrong?
Ryder: Big time!
Everest: (concerned) What happened?
