Tobias wants to leave before initiation is over, wanting to take Amalia with him and take part in the uprising along side his mother. Someday, our combined efforts to reach each other again will lead us both into the abyss." After an overthrow of the unwanted factionless government, the war in Chicago is over. To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. A Divergent fanficion In this fanfiction, Tris and Tobias meet in Abnegation. The basic plot of Divergent, Tris transferring to Dauntless and her and Four falling in love are still happening, but in different order and with my own twist to it. Like many fanfics, the war doesn't happen in this, but many twists, dangers and people from the past try to stop Fourtris's happiness. Beatrice just wants her life to be normal but some people prevent that from happening. Beatrice will learn that life can't be perfect and she has to accept that there will always be problems. Beatrice and Tobias fight the obstacles that come their way together. There is no war just because it would make everything more complicated and I just wanted to write a fanfic with a happy ending to help me forget about the real ending of the trilogy. Enjoy!

They think they don't deserve each other but oh how they need each other. (Al is alive, parents can see their child if they make it through initiation, and there was no war!!)

On the day after they shared their first kiss at the bottom of the chasm, Tris' fear of intimacy comes up during her fear simulation while Tobias is watching. Will the two weeks until initiation be enough to overcome it together to avoid the unwanted revelation of their forbidden relationship to the Dauntless leaders? And it doesn't remain their only challenge: Soon they find out there's something going on between Dauntless and Erudite leaderships, something terrible that threatens not only them, but their friends and family, too, as well as the whole society they live in... *Completed* This story picks up right after chapter twenty-six of 'Divergent' and I used the setting and characters from the book, but I made some changes in timeline and initiation process to be able to tell it the way I imagine it. Rated Mature for sexual content (but don't expect them to go straight at it in the first chapters... ;-)). Divergent fan fic. WARNING, this is my first thing I have written on Wattpad so it probably isn't that good idk. This is one of those Divergent no War type things but I do include a couple of chapters from the amazing Veronica Roth's book Divergent in here. I put my own spin on some of her chapters though, and after that it is all my own ideas.
