"Why have you been acting so weird Bella?" Cammile questions as we sit in my room, listening to the soft patter of rain hitting the roof and windows. It's gloomy and cold, I could tell snow was coming.

Oh shit. Has it been that obvious?

I mean ever since I saw that strange vision, I haven't been feeling too great. I still don't know what it was, or if it was even real.

"Oh, uhh, you know the wedding is in like two days, kind of freaking out. I don't feel like I'm ready."

That was a partial lie. I want acting weird because of the wedding, and I've kind of forced myself to come to terms about the whole thing. I don't have another choice to be fair. But at the same time I still am stressing. This will be my first and probably only time getting married and so many people will be watching me.

I'll be marrying a man I barely know.

Cam just hums in acknowledgment, I know she gets it all. Well kind of, she just knows I have full right to be acting different because in less than 48 hours, I would be a wife. And that's all anyone will see me for. A wife. And eventually a mother. Buts that's it. They won't look past me, I'll be Nikolai's  wife, nothing more. We sit in comfortable silence for a while.

"Shit, don't we have a dinner with my brother? Is that tonight?" Cammile asks out of the blue, panicked.

My face drops. Fuck, that is tonight. I don't know the time but the sun set a while ago, and dinner had probably already begun.

We look at each other in fear, then get up as fast as we can, bolting out of my room, and running down the stairs as fast as I can in the shoes I'm in.

We make it to the dining room, breathing heavily. Eyes fall on us. Nikolai looks mad. And that's saying something, because he's got a fucking plate looking thing blocking his face. So for me to still be able to tell he's mad is not good.

"Sorry, we're late. Got caught up, lost track of time," I quickly mumble out and shuffle my way to my seat. Cam follows.

The air is tense and thick by the time we all settle. The only people at the table are me, Cam, Benedict, Matteo, and Nikolai. I'm assuming his parents are preparing for the upcoming wedding. I'm sure there's a lot to do.

A bowl of hot soup is placed in front of me. I thank the server and start eating, trying not to slurp. Benedict is to my right, Matteo next to him. Then opposite me is Cammile. And of course the prince sits at the head of the table.

"So, you exited about the wedding guys?" Benedict asks in attempt to break the silence in the large room.

Me and Nikolai just glance each other, then turn to Benedict. No words are exchanged. Well, this just got even more awkward.

"Actually, that reminds me, the kingdom of Maypuck have put in a last minute invitation," Nikolai comments.

"Who?" I retort.

He looks shocked. His body jerking back slightly, taken aback. "Uhh, well, they're a kingdom down east. We aren't really on the friendliest of terms, but I accepted their request anyways. I thought we could make a stronger alliance. It's run by a man named Salvatore, and the rest of the 'royal family's' names are Terrence and Luciano."

I just say a small, 'oh' in return. I've never heard of them which is unusual. But I brush it off.

The rest of dinner goes smoothly. Well, quiet but no more awkward moments and no fights. So I count that as smoothly.

As dessert is being brought out I remember something from the engagement ball. Benedict had a friend he looked rather close to, I needed to find out more.

"So, Benedict. You know the night of the engagement ball when I came up to you and you were with a gentleman in a purple suit I believe. You looked rather close. You two just friends?" I turn to my right with a smirk.

His face suddenly turns a bright shade of red. He then drops his head down, hiding his face from the table. Matteo bursts out laughing, and so does Cammile. I can't help but join in. Benedict is still deep crimson when he finally lifts his head up.

I won't mind living with them. Maybe I'll even enjoy it.

Who knows...
