An orphan his whole life, (Y/N) (L/N) has learned to rely on himself. Meticulous and hardworking, (Y/N) strives to be a business manager in the future.
On one fateful encounter, (Y/N) is thrust into the world of school idols with no way of getting...
It's been a few weeks since the idol clubs first ever live show. Ever since then we've been chilling out so far. The Club gained a lot of popularity since then; way more than when the club first started out with 5 members. I'm glad to be a part of this club.
"Hey! (L/N)-san! Pay attention!" A teacher's voice jolts me awake. Seems I was spacing out.
"You've been spacing out more and more lately. Are you alright?." Ai whispers to me.
"Yeah. I'm fine." I try to pay more attention to the lesson but am unable to. It's not that I can't, it's just that there's a lingering feeling of... Something. I can't pinpoint what that feeling is though.
Maybe it's restlessness? That feeling of wanting to do more even after the success of a show? Maybe it's because I'm their manager that I want to do more for them. They're my friends so I need to support them in every way possible.
Ever since I joined the idol club, my life has become brighter. I actually enjoy walking to school with my Yuu and Ayumu, and heading home with the whole club, despite being the only male. Over the course of the last few days, I feel like I've gotten pretty close to them.
This may get me jealous looks from many people, but some are very nice to me. It's a surprise but a welcome one.

The school bell signals the end of class and the start of lunch. Everyone begins to walk out of the classroom to eat with their friends. Ai, however, stays behind and talks to me.
"Hey, (L/N)-chi, wanna go get lunch together?" She stands up from her desk.
"You're not gonna go with your other friends?" I inquire.
"Not this time. Tomorrow though. I just thought I'd hang out with you this time." Ai smiled at me. I can't help but smile as well.
"Well, if you're alright with hanging out with me, then it's fine with me. Why don't we get lunch?" Ai nods her head at my statement and we head toward the cafeteria.

When we arrive, me and Ai find a place to sit.
Ai: "Did you bring your lunch?"
(Y/N): "Not this time. I don't have groceries at home. I've been so busy so I'm gonna buy lunch."
Ai: "Busy? With what?"
(Y/N): "Managing y'all, apparently."
Ai: "And we're thankful for your help. Keep it up Manager!"
(Y/N): "Call me that again and I'll ditch you." Ai laughs it off.
Ai: "Come on, don't be so stuck up! You've been more casual, yeah, but you're still formal. Smile more!"
