Hyunjin smirk as his gaze shifts from my eyes to my lips. He then strokes my cheek with his thumb.

"I knew when I saw you in that hospital you were different... Maybe meeting you was meant to be"

he whispered the last part. I hold my breath as he leans down towards my lips. Should I let him kiss me? Do I want him to? Just then, a knock at the door has hyunjin stepping back with a wink.

I sigh as he walks away, reaching for my phone which is no longer tucked safely into my pants pocket.

My phone...

It's gone! That bastard tricked me!

"Come in" hyunjin said as he stood next to the door then there is came changbin.

"Mr. Hwang is waiting for you, sir"

"Tell him I'll be there in a moment" Changbin nods and exits the room, his footsteps pacing up and down the hall as hyunjin turns back to me.

"Before I go, let's go over the rule"

"You're leaving?! What about me-?" I asked

"You're staying here" he replied

"I'll have my staff bring you anything you need to help you feel at home... But you are to stay here. Are we clear?" He added more like order.

"You can't expect me to sit around waiting until you decide to have me killed"

"Felix, I have no intention of killing you. While you are in my house, you will be perfectly safe"

"'Safe?' Uh-huh, sure. Whatever you say" I spat

Hyunjin grits his jaw and then steps out, shutting the door behind him. I hear the jingle of keys, then the sound of a lock turning. With my only exit blocked, i realize I'm trapped.

'Great! Now I'm stuck. What do I do now?'

I slump onto the sofa and then look down at my arms spattered with blood 'Maybe I'll feel better if I have a shower...' I gingerly maneuver the room before finding a door to the bathroom and step inside. Thank god that there are some towels and clothes already have.

After i shower, i head back into the living room to find hyunjin sitting on the couch

"Feeling better?" He asks me

"I feel less gross if that's what you mean"

"Doc, what were my last words before I left you?"

"Before you... Oh, come on! What, I'm not even allowed to use the bathroom now?"

"I told you to stay here!" Is he for real?

"And I want to go home!" My sentence blurts out before i can hold it back, and hyunjin's face falls, He seems like upset.

"Hyunjin what is it?"

"There's been a.... change of plans. You'll just have to be patient" he spoke not looking at me.

"What? What happened?"

"All you need to know is that I'm in the middle of a war" That sounds ominous...

"There are people who want to hurt my family... and take what is ours. And I can't allow that. So until all this settles down and I can assure your safety, you must stay here" He sternly said. "But... once I've retaken control, you'll be free to go. I give you my word"

"And what exactly is your word worth, Mr. Hwang?" I snaps.

"I'd rather you didn't call me that. Mr. Hwang is my father " Wait... So why is he the supposed new leader of the family if his father is still alive?

"So here's the deal: you obey my instructions and do as I tell you, and I'll protect you" his voice bring me back to reality as my eyes meet his.

"Then once things are calmer in a week or two... I'll let you go. If you still want to leave that is" he whispered last part.

The wink he throws me makes me scoff

"Hyunjin, I can't wait to leave" i said honestly.

"And here was me thinking we were starting to get along"

"Oh yeah... like a house on fire" rolling my eyes I asks seriously "Hyunjin, please, just tell me... What has changed in the last hour?"

Hyunjin shrugs, then picks up the remote, flicking through the channels until an image of the hospital i work at stares back at me.

"You might wanna see this" he muttered.

News Reporter: Police have just confirmed that a local gang fight broke out inside and outside Hyundae General Hospital.

Shockingly i gasp Oh my god.

We've no word yet on how the fight started, but what we do know is that it ended somewhere on the second floor of the hospital itself. Everything that happened tonight... it's all over the news.

And-Wait, hold on! The news anchor places a hand over their ear, eyes growing wide.
Police have confirmed that aside from the casualties, Head of Trauma, Dr. Lee Felix is still unaccounted for...

My eyes widen as a large, unflattering image of myself fills the screen. The taste of metal fills my mouth as panic sets in.

"T-That's me!"

Police are requesting that if you've seen this man or have any information about his whereabouts to call 911 but to not approach. The men linked with him disappearance are armed and incredibly dangerous.
