The music pounded loudly inside the club, the clinking of glasses mixed with laughter and the deep bass thumping in his chest. Dim lights flickered erratically, casting shadows across the faces of those lost in the euphoria of the night.

In the midst of it all, William sat at the bar, one hand holding a nearly empty glass of whiskey, the other scrolling through his phone aimlessly. He had no intention of getting drunk-just wanted to unwind after a long day.

But the atmosphere here wasn't helping much.

A familiar laugh rang out nearby, and when William glanced up, he instantly recognized the man behind the bar.

Est.

That guy was always here, wearing that infuriating smirk that made people want to punch him-and yet, for some reason, stare at him a little longer than necessary.

Est saw him. His grin widened as he approached, leaning casually against the bar counter right in front of William.

"You're alone tonight?"

William took a sip of his whiskey. "And if I am?"

Est chuckled, tilting his head slightly. "Not used to seeing you sitting here all by yourself. Usually, there's a girl beside you."

William shot him a bored look. "Not everyone is as busy as you, Est."

"Haha, funny." Est grabbed a whiskey bottle from behind the bar and poured more into William's glass without asking. "Drink up. The night's still young."

William eyed his glass before looking back at Est. "Who told you to refill my drink?"

Est simply shrugged. "Consider it a special service."

William scoffed. "You always do as you please."

Est smirked. "And yet, you keep coming back here. So maybe, me doing as I please isn't such a problem for you."

William fell silent. Not because he had no response, but because-damn it-Est had a point.

Without realizing it, he took the glass.

William didn't remember exactly when everything started to blur.

But he remembered that gaze.

Est's eyes were different that night-sharper, closer, piercing into him in a way they never had before.

He remembered the first touch-light, playful, almost teasing. Then, gradually, it became something else.

Est was too close.

Fingers pulling at his collar, warm hands brushing against his wrist, breath ghosting over his skin.

"So, are you afraid?"

That voice-low, husky, with a teasing edge-ignited something in William that he wasn't prepared for.

He didn't answer.

Because he didn't know what the right answer was.

Or maybe, at that moment, he didn't want to answer.

What he did know was that he didn't pull away.

Est's smirk deepened. "You're letting me, Mr. William."

Fingers ran through his hair, tugging him closer. William could smell the alcohol on Est's breath, mixed with something sweeter-something far more intoxicating than the drink in his hand.
