The next morning Lan Zhan woke up to see his right side is empty, "Wei Ying?" 'He must be with the other people,' he decided to get up, take a bath, change and walk out into the main room to have breakfast with everyone else.

When Lan Zhan turn the corner he heard, "Jiang Wanyin! No matter what you said I will not return back to Yunmeng town! I already repay to your family for what I did for them. I protect you and Jiang Yanli!"

Lan Zhan walk over to where everyone else is doing, "also...I want you to see something, something I don't want anyone to see," Wei Ying let out some dark energy as it turn into a big circle to let everyone see what's Wei Ying is talking about.

Xiao Xingchen, Lan Zhan and Jin Ling see what is going on in front of them, "Ying ge, didn't you said that you don't want sect leader Jiang to know?" Asked Wen Ning.

"I did, since he want me to return back to the Jiang clan, I have no other choice," his eye burn with rage in them.

They watch as Wen Qing take out Wei Ying core from deep within him while he stay awake, "A-Ying...." Xiao Xingchen felt hand on his hand.

Wei Ying waved his hand, the dark energy disappear, "Do you all understand while I end up cultivating dark energy? Why I walk this path? Why Jin Guangshan and Jin Guangyao want what I have? Why you all went up against me? I have no other choice!"

'No wonder you didn't tell me what happen to you. Why didn't you tell me?' Wei Ying can feel Lan Zhan eye on him.

Xiao Xingchen take Song Lan hand, then went to grab Wei Ying hand, "Give us a moment. Come A-Ying," with that the three of them left from there. Lan Zhan decided to follow them.

Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan end up at the very back of cloud Recesse.  Wei Ying went to the cliff, Lan Zhan who is seeing this run to his side and wrap his arm around Wei Ying waist.

Wei Ying let out a painful, hurt and angry scream that echo throughout the valley. Lan Zhan felt tear drop on his hand, "A-Ying, come back over here right now."

He then breath in then out, "I'm fine Lan Zhan," he turn around while unwrapping Lan Zhan arm from around his waist. Wei Ying take Lan Zhan hand and take him over to where Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan is at.

"Wei Ying, why didn't you tell me about it?" Lan Zhan asked.

"I don't want you to think differently about me, Lan Zhan. I don't want to taint your pure heart while I am already taint in pure darkness. All I want is to push you away, no matter how hard I try, your too stubborn to listen to what I said," Lan Zhan felt his heart skipping a beat when Wei Ying smiled at him.

"I won't think any difference about you, Wei Ying. You once ask me what am I to you, I ask you back the same question. You said that you see as your soulmate, I am and will always be your soulmate, Wei ying," this make Wei Ying to take Lan Zhan hand back into his hand.

"A-Ying, I don't agree for what you did to Jiang Wanyin," Wei Ying know what his Shishu mean.

"He didn't listen to me when I told him to stay with his sister. He end up getting captured by the Wen clan and got his core melted by Wen Zhuliu. He never listen to what I said, he blame me for the death of his clan and family for saving Lan Zhan and Jin Zixuan when we were at the indoctrination and in the cave. He only think about his clan, nothing else," Wei Ying.

"Is that why you said, you repay him and his family by giving up your core for him?" Wei Ying nodded his head.

"Wuxian, why didn't you let Jiang gongzi know about it?" Asked Song Lan.

"I don't want him to know is because I don't want to see the way he look at me back there. Wen Qing and Wen Ning promise me not to let Jiang Cheng know what I have done for him." Wei Ying.

"Until now," Wei Ying nodded his head.

He went to wrap his arm around Lan Zhan waist and put his face on Lan Zhan stomach, "Is so tiring.....Once we get this all done and over with, Shishu, let's head back home. I want nothing to do with this cultivation world anymore. Baixue temple is my home now."

"Okay," Xiao Xingchen look at Lan Zhan, "Wangji, stay with A-Ying for a while okay? Until he is ready to head back to continue doing empathy on Su She," Lan Zhan nodded his head.

Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan got up and left from there, leaving Wei Ying and Lan Zhan by themselves. "Was it painful, Wei Ying?" Lan Zhan run his hand up and down Wei Ying back.

"Mn. Wen Qing told me to stay awake, if I don't then the core will dissipate. I can feel every sharp cut from Wen Qing blade," Wei Ying tighten his hold on Lan Zhan when he think about the blade touching his skin when Wen Qing cut him open up.

"What were the chances?" Lan Zhan.

"50/50 chance." Wei Ying answered Lan Zhan question.

"I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you, I'm sorry for leaving you behind when we left the cave." Wei Ying got up and push Lan Zhan down to the ground, "I don't blame you, A-Zhan. You left to go take back your home, it is your first priority, right now, you are my first priority," he closed the distance between the two of them.

When air become a problem, Wei Ying pull back, he look down to see a flushed Lan Zhan, "I love to see this side of you, a side no one is allow to see."

Wei Ying the let out a laugh, "You look cute when you pout, Wangji," after saying that he got up and pull Lan Zhan up with him.

"Now,let's go see what's Su She is hiding," Lan Zhan nodded his head, so the two of them head back to the orchid room.

When the two arrive back at the orchid room, they hear Su She shouting inside of the room. "You know what you did, Su She and we will see what you and Jin Guangyao did behind our back," Lan Xichen give Su She a death glare.

"Then shall we begin," with a snap of his finger, the door close, window close, light went out, Wei Ying sent his dark energy into Su She right ear as it come out to his left ear.

The resentment energy soon let everyone see how Jin Guangyao and Su She know each other.

Wei Ying take Lan Zhan hand and walk them over to where their usually seat is at.

They watch as Wei Ying make a big scene during the banquet after the hunt on Phoenix mountain. When Wei Ying left from there Jin Guangshan got angry for not being able to get Wei Ying Yin Hufu from him.

"Wei Ying, he look very angry," Lan Zhan look over at Wei Ying, "That is because I didn't hand over my Yin Hufu. The Jin clan has become a greedy clan just like the Wen clan."

The scene change to when Jin Guangyao went to see Su She in his room. What's the group about to see will make them regret for what they accused Wei Ying of, "What you put a curse on Jin Zixun?" Asked Jin Guangyao.

The room grasp at what they just heard from, "it was Sect leader Su who put the curse on Jin Zixun!" Sect leader Yao said this out loud for everyone in the room to hear what he just said.
