Purvi's eyes snapped open, and she sat up, her gaze darting to the clock on her nightstand.

Her eyes widened in surprise - it was already 9 pm. She couldn't believe she had slept for so long.

As she sat up, Kaira stirred beside her, slowly opening her eyes. A spark of recognition lit up Kaira's face as she saw Purvi, and a tiny smile played on her lips.

Purvi scooped up Kaira and headed downstairs.

In the dining hall, she saw two servants busy setting the dinner table. "Suniye," Purvi called out, her voice catching the servants' attention.

"Yes, mam?" one of the servants replied, turning to face her.

Purvi asked, "Mujhe Kaira ka baby food chahiye." (I need Kaira's baby food.)

The servant nodded and said, "Sure, mam. I'll get it."

Just then, Kairav walked into the hall, his eyes locking onto Kaira and Purvi.

Purvi was kneeling on the floor, playing with Kaira, who giggled and cooed in delight.

Kaira's eyes sparkled as she saw Kairav, and she squirmed out of Purvi's grasp, running towards him.

Kairav swept Kaira up in his arms, twirling her around as he asked, "How're you, my baby?" Kaira's face lit up with a smile, but Purvi's expression darkened, her anger simmering just below the surface.

The servant returned with Kaira's food tray, interrupting the tense moment. "Mam," the servant said, extending the tray towards Purvi.

But before Purvi could take the tray, Kairav intercepted it, moving towards the dining table to feed Kaira.

Purvi's eyes flashed with anger, and she turned on her heel, storming upstairs.

Kairav watched her go, his eyes following her with a mixture of concern and frustration, his gaze lingering on the spot where she had disappeared from view.

Kairav signaled to one of his servants to call Purvi for dinner. The servant obediently went to summon Purvi, but she refused to come downstairs, declining the offer of food.

Kairav's expression turned stern, his jaw clenched in frustration. He stood up, handing Kaira over to her nanny, Siya, before heading upstairs to confront Purvi.

He found her lying on the bed, her face buried in the pillow. Kairav's eyes narrowed, his voice firm as he said, without looking at her, "Do you need an invitation to eat dinner?"

Purvi remained silent, her body still, refusing to acknowledge Kairav's question.

Kairav's patience was wearing thin. "Chalo, chalke khana khao," he said, his tone brooking no argument.
