In a moment of pure, unfiltered joy, Yamauchi was practically radiating excitement!
And honestly, who could blame him?!
After all, he was about to meet a girl—a kouhai, no less—who wasn't just cute, but dangerously close to idol-tier beautiful! His mind was already swimming in fantasies, his grin stretching ear to ear like a kid who'd just found the candy aisle unsupervised!
Meanwhile, his ever-loyal (or so he thought) friend Ike had the audacity—the nerve—to try and stop him! Instead of hyping him up like a proper wingman, Ike had the gall to talk him down!
The betrayal!
Thou art not my friend.
Naturally, Yamauchi came to the only logical conclusion: Ike was jealous! Green with envy! Burning with it! Clearly, Ike couldn't handle Yamauchi's impending romantic success!
As Yamauchi's leg wiggled with giddy anticipation, his entire body seemed to join in, jiggling with every hopeful thought of his sexy kouhai! He had practically started composing wedding vows in his head!
Then he glanced around—just to check.
No one!
Perfect!
Yamauchi straightened up, adjusted his collar, and did his best to look like the picture of cool!
...He failed miserably, but hey—love was in the air, and delusion is a powerful perfume!
"Perhaps... she's going to confess to me! Hehehe..." Yamauchi giggled to himself.
He imagined her adorable face looking up at him, eyes sparkling with admiration... and maybe—just maybe—she'd say those magic words: "Yamauchi-senpai... I like you!"
But oh, Yamauchi didn't stop there. Oh no. His imagination went full throttle.
He started picturing everything—everything—that could happen in that secret location where the mysterious kouhai had invited him. Every questionable plotline from every ecchi and hentai manga he'd ever read suddenly became potentially canon. In his head, he was the main character, and this was his long-awaited "event scene."
