RAGATHA POV

The day of rehearsal was interesting, to say the least, but it went smoothly as it could in the wacky world. Sure, there were a few hiccups with Gangles' costume and Kinger forgetting a line or two... or ten. But it went smoothly nonetheless!

The energy Ragatha felt walking about to her room from the rehearsal left her on her toes. She found herself thinking that she couldn't wait for the play. With the help from Luna and some of her own practice, she was more confident in her voice when she read her lines, and her motions when she danced weren't clumsy or misplaced. Sure, her acting might have needed a little bit more work, but that's what practice is for, right?

"Well, you're looking as bright as ever, Ragatha~" Luna hummed, lighting the sky a little brighter.

"I feel a little brighter," Ragatha smiled as she finished stacking the section of the script back into a neat stack. "Thanks to you! Our practices have been nothing but helpful!"

"I'm glad to hear, my star! But with all these late-night practices, I hope it's not affecting your rest."

Ragatha gave her a smiling nod back, finishing her stacking her papers, she laided back on the grass looking up at the sky, letting out a slight laugh. "Not like we really need to rest, I'm usually up this late at night anyway."

"Well, as long as my star is fit to play her part, which reminds me. How was your first rehearsal?"

"It was nice, sure, all of us had a few fumbles today, but it was just our first rehearsal." Ragatha shrugged. "It went smoothly nonetheless."

"No mishaps from your little purple friend, hm?" Luna smiled as her glow grew a bit brighter.

"Surprisingly, no, he was on his best behavior through the whole time," Ragatha giggled at a memory a few hours earlier.

After the group rehearsal, Caine sent the others working with the other Bubbles on their parts, while Caine spent some one-on-one time with her and Jax.

"Alright, Jax, Ragatha, this scene is where your first duet comes into play," Caine yelled from his director's chair.

"Oh brother," Jax rolled his eyes.

"Oh come on Jax, it's just a silly little play," Ragatha reassured him.

Jax looked down at his script, brow furrowed and hands almost ready to crumple the paper, "What's the point of having this stupid part in the play anyway Caine?"

"Romance, my boy! Just imagine it," Caine swooped down from his director's chair and glided in between them, wrapping his arms round both of them and pushing them closer to one another. "Just think of it, Jasper leading his one love through the scary forbidden forest, Annie holding him tight, having wandered through, both sharing memories and showing one another that no matter the circumstance," Caine had pushed them uncomfortably close now. "That he would be by her side no matter what! Doesn't it just bring a tear to your eye, two hearts yearning-"

Ragatha looked up at the figure pushed in front of her. She felt the warmth in her cheeks grow as Jax looked down at her, expression unreadable. Anything else Caine said was nothing more than a whisper as she thought, This is just a silly play, right?

"Well, you seem happy," Luna hummed, but it seemed like it was more to what she was sayin,g but Ragatha shrugged it off.

"Well, of course I am! Everything is going as planned, Jax hasn't been causing any problems, and the rehearsal went smoothly as ever!"

Luna giggled, shaking her head, "If that's all that matters to you, my star."

Ragatha had bid Luna a good night and made her way back to her room. The section of the packet on her bed side table as she lay on her bed humming a tune from todays rehersal.
