~Chapter 5~

Third POV

"Haredas-san, guess what? I've met up with my captain," she chirped.

"Oh? The Strawhat boy?" came from the other line.

"Yes, the Strawhat boy. Can you meet me in a little bit?" she asked, "but take your time," Nami said eyeing Luffy, "My captain's getting kind of hungry here.. again," she giggled.

"Sure."

The both of them had gone in search of a restaurant once more, to fill the idiot captain's endless pit of a stomach.

As they walked through the village, they came across a notice board with flyers pinned to it and stopped.

"There's a festival tonight. Wanna go?" Luffy asked excitedly.

"Hm, okay. Sounds fun!"

They'd found a restaurant after that and had their lunch, but Luffy didn't want to leave the restaurant.

In the end, Nami had to drag him out of there, as he whined and grumbled, saying he didn't have enough food yet.

They'd walked some more and Nami found the person she was looking for.

"Oh, Look, there he is! Haredas-saaan~! Over here!" she waved him over. "Oi! oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi! Nami-chan! There you are!"

"Stop doing that!" she said as she punched him in the head.

Luffy stared in horror deciding to take back his initial thought when he met her earlier that day.. this was definitely the same old Nami.

Nami introduced the straw-hat boy to the old man, "Haredas-san, this is Luffy."

"I see, I've heard a lot about you," the old man said, turning to Luffy.

To this, the raven haired boy cluelessly grinned, "Ohh did Nami tell you I was a genius?"

"You shut up, Luffy!" She growled, this boy spouted the most randomest things at times.

"But ossan, who're you?" he asked, holding his head, where Nami had hit him.

"Oh, me?" The old man said, "Well, I'm just an old man."

"Eh?" Luffy scratched his head in confusion.

After some small talk, it was decided that Nami would head off together with Luffy, she was excited to try out what her upgraded clima tact could do.

She smiled at the short old man and gave him a hug, saying her goodbyes and thanking him for everything he'd done for her for the past year and a half.

"Give my regards to the rest of the old guys in Weatheria!" she smiled.

Once she was a few feet away from the man, she called out to him, pulling out a familiar wallet and waving it over her head with a victorious grin.

Old man Haredas's jaw dropped in disbelief, "You little thief!"
