Smile Like The Sun [COMPLETED]

Chapter 9

After a few feet, Nico yelled a quick "RACE YA!" before bolting to Cabin 13, laughing like a small child.

Will leapt up and sprinted after him. "I will get you, Di Angelo!"

Nico shrieked and ran faster. Will giggled and ran after his childish boyfriend. Nico ran into the shadow of a tree, a few seconds later appearing on top of the Hades cabin.

"No you won't!" he shouted, a grin spread across his face.

"Hey! I said two weeks!" Will shouted. He ran into the cabin and climbed up onto the roof. He grabbed Nico and peppered kisses all over his face.

"No," Kiss "More," Kiss "Magic." Kiss. Will grinned at him. "Or I'll follow you around every second of every day and tie you down if you use it again."

Nico cocked an eyebrow. Gods, he was cute. "Big words coming from the guy who can't get off this roof." Will chuckled and kissed him again.

Nico kissed back softly, trying to hide the fact that the shadow traveling had taken a lot out of him. His face had gotten paler, and his knees were wobbly.

"Fine" he relented. He saw Jason walk by the cabin, on his way to Cabin 10 to meet up with Piper.

"Hey Jase!" he called, Jason turning his head. "Can you fly us down?"

Once they were safely on the ground, Nico collapsed, falling into Will's arms. He caught him, and helped him stay up. His eyes said 'infirmary'. Nico frowned, but nodded. Jason spoke.

"I wanted to say goodbye to you guys. The Romans are going back today."

Nico nodded somberly. Will squeezed his hand.

"It was nice meeting you," the blond said. Nico hugged him.

"Bye Jase."

"Bye."

He walked off, and Nico was hurried to the infirmary.

He had passed out on the way there, causing Will to carry him bridal style.

He placed Nico on a bed, and sat next to him. He put food on the table near his bed, and water. He slipped into his scrubs and tended to other patients while Nico slept. He would check on him every once in a while, but he was still sleeping, which Will found comforting, and worrying.

He was fast asleep, only stirring, and not waking up fully. Will carried him back to his cabin with some sleep meds and another blanket. It wasn't cold, but he knew for a fact Nico was.

He tucked him in and decided to stay. He took one of the unused beds and lay down. He looked over at his sleeping boyfriend. Boyfriend. What a weird word. More like 'beautiful person' 'person I love' 'person who loves me' 'favorite person on the face of this earth' 'the source of my happiness'

Or something.

Before he got too deep into the weird nicknames, he went to sleep.

Nico was sound asleep. So asleep that he didn't even wake up when his hands started fading. He was in a dreamless sleep, complete darkness. 'Will's so nice...' he thought. Nico spent the night in that weird stage of sleep, where you can still think, but you can't wake up or dream. And he spent the entire night thinking of Will:

How he was the first person to make him smile in 4 years; how he always cared for him, and looked past his exterior- a cloud that made others avoid him. A cloud called being the son of Hades.

He thought about how lucky he was to call Will his boyfriend. Boyfriend... boooyfrieend... he liked the sound of it. Being able to call Will that.

He continued to have strange fever thoughts like these until the morning- when he woke from the sound of the conch shell that yelled at everyone to get up at approximately 7:30 AM.
