"So, you're the new dance captain?" Noah asked Orla the next morning as they walked into Squeezed before both of their respective rehearsals.
"Um... yeah, I guess I am," Orla couldn't keep the smile off her face. "Um, two strawberry's, please," she said to the barista, who nodded.
"That's great!" Noah grinned, as his sister turned back round. "Honestly, Orls, I hope I'm like you when I'm older."
"Aw," Orla smiled. "Thanks," she said to the barista as she took both bottles of juice, handing one to Noah before they sat down.
"No, I seriously mean it," Noah told her.
Orla smiled. "Thanks, Noah."
"So," he said. "On another hand, how's everything going with James?"
Orla rolled her eyes at him. "You, my dear brother, do not get to hear about that."
"So there is something to tell?" Noah smirked.
"No," Orla denied immediately.
"There so is!" Noah laughed as Orla hit him playfully on the arm.
But in actual fact, it felt good for her to be so close with her brother, especially since she had seen Riley and Emily's drama over the past few months. She liked the fact that Noah and her hung out like this, and that their love for dance kept them linked.
They talked for about fifteen more minutes before Orla said. "Well, I'd best be off, Noah, I'm sorry but I can't be late for rehearsal, especially not now I'm the one running it!"
"Good luck, Orls," Noah said, as he watched his sister slurp the last of her drink pick up her bag, and then hurry from the juice bar.

As Orla put her hair up in the studio, talking animatedly to Chloe, she couldn't help but stealing glances over at Emily, who resembled a viper, locking in on her prey. She also didn't fail to notice that James wasn't there yet, and everyone was.
"Dancers, can I have your attention, please?" Chris asked as he and Kate came into the studio. "Miss Kate has an announcement!"
"I just wanted to let you know that our application for Regionals has been confirmed," Kate grinned, watching the dancers get all excited.
"Whoo!" Orla cheered, hi fiving Daniel, who looked almost happier than her.
"I'm really, really glad that our Regionals application has been confirmed," he smiled.
"We're in, we're so much closer to Regionals," Riley added in triumph.
"We just gotta keep on working to get there, and I know we will," West finished.
"I have a feeling that, this is gonna be our year, and we'll win," Kate glowed with a smile.
"So, we know what that means, it's game time! So get your game faces on!" Chris joked.
"On!" Orla joked, cracking a serious face.
"Regionals are in a month, so we have a lot of work to do," Kate added.
Orla hadn't noticed Emily, who was looking a cross between happy and sad.
"Clearly the, um, Regionals application is something exciting for everyone," she tried to smile. "But... it's a little dampened for me right now, I mean, I'm not dance captain, it's not my routine going to Regionals."
