Chapter 38
Mikha's P.O.V
It's been a week mula ng mag-kaayos kami ni Aiah and nag decided kaming mag stay na sa house namin since we used to live here naman. Inayos ko yung blanket dahil magagalit na naman si Aiah kapag tumayo ako ng hindi ko inaayos yung hinigaan ko.
Saan naman kaya pumunta yun.
I went down and made some coffee before going upstairs and hanging out on the veranda of our room while watering the plants that Aiah had placed on the veranda. Habang umiinom ako ng kape bigla akong napatingin sa may garden.
My eyes widened when I saw who was with Aiah in the garden..
It's Jeremy.
The two of them were sitting opposite each other at the coffee table outside and happily talking.
Nag salubong ang kilay ko sa nakita ko. Seriously Aiah sa bahay pa talaga? Binaba ko yung mug at sinabuyan silang dalawa ng tubig galing sa hose.
Gulat na napatingin si Aiah sa taas at sinaway ako.
"Mikha?! Hey stop!" sabi niya at hinila yung gunggong para hindi maabot ng tubig.
Binaba ko yung hose at pinatay bago umalis. Pumunta ako sa may office ko at sinarado yung door. Yung old room ko rito dati is ginawa ko'ng office para makapag-aral pa ko about sa medicine.
Maya maya lang narinig ko na may pumasok sa loob nawalan tuloy ako ng gana bigla dahil sa nakita ko.
I ignored her and focused my eyes on the laptop in front of me, I was busy reading so I didn't look at her anymore.
"Ano ba naman yan Mikha? Bakit mo naman ginanun yung tao?" ramdam ko yung inis sa boses niya habang nakapamaywang. "Kinakausap ba kita Mikha Lim?"
"Get out of here.. can't you see? i am busy" I said coldly.
"Mikha naman, ano bang problema mo?" she asked.
"I SAID GET FUCKING OUT OF HERE CAN'T YOU FUCKING SEE? I'M FUCKING BUSY!" sigaw ko. "YOU DON'T FUCKING DESERVE TO BE LOVE ARCETA.."
"Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit nag makaawa na naman ako sa'yo para lang bumalik ka sakin, wala ka naman kwenta, selfish ka, sarili mo lang iniisip mo" sabi ko pa.
Pain and shock flashed in her eyes and without saying a word she left the office and slammed the door shut. I didn't bother to chase her anymore just to suyo her, I was tripping over her,. Kabadtripp!!! Pero bakit ko naman kasing sinabi yun? Sumobra naman yata ako? Haytssss.
I passed the time in the office until I didn't realize that it was past 4:00 pm in the afternoon.. I hadn't had lunch yet.. so I went downstairs to get something to eat from the fridge when I saw that someone had already served table but the food hasn't been touched yet so I know she still hasn't eaten.
Tsss bahala ka d'yan hindi kita susuyuin.. Kinuha ko yung car keys ko tsaka lumabas ng bahay. I got in the car and drove to the nearest bar to drink., masyado ako'ng nabadtrip sa nakita ko kanina kaya naisipan ko nalang mag-lasing. Nakakailang shots na ko at medyo may tama na rin dahil wala pa ko'ng kain tapos hard drinks pa yung ininom ko.
I stayed at the bar for a few hours and when I thought about going home, I paid my bills and got up. I was about to leave the bar when I saw Chie, she walked towards me and stopped in front of me while leaning in and quickly kissed me on the lips..
"Hi baby" she greeted me sweetly. Napalunok ako dahil sa ginawa niya Gago neto baka mamaya may makita pa samin. Hindi nga pala alam ni Aiah na nung time na wala siya at naging kafling ko si Chie at wala na ko'ng planong sabihin pa sa kanya yun.
