Romantic chapter ahead.

Savi carefully packed the lunch she had made for Rajat, her mind wandering to their conversation earlier that morning. She couldn't shake off the feeling that Rajat was upset with her, and it nagged at her.

As she finished packing the lunch, Savi felt a sudden urge to go to Rajat's office and make things right. She didn't know why, but her heart was telling her to go, to apologize and reassure Rajat that she was there for him.

Before heading out to Rajat's office, Savi made sure to make arrangements for Sai's care. She don't trust Aashika a bit. She is a danger.

"Mummy ji, I need to step out for a bit," Savi said to bhagyashree. "Can you please make sure Sai is okay? I'll be back soon."

Bhagyashree reassured Savi that she would take good care of Sai, and Savi felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that Bhagyashree, with her kind and nurturing nature, was the perfect person to care for Sai. And why not? She is her dadi.

.......

As Savi stood outside Rajat's office building, she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. She was nervous, excited, and a little apprehensive all at once. This was the first time she was taking the initiative to surprise Rajat, to show him that she cared.

Savi took a deep breath, smoothing out her clothes and checking her hair. She had packed his favorite lunch, and she hoped that it would bring a smile to his face.

With a newfound sense of determination, Savi pushed open the door and stepped into the office building. She made her way to the reception desk, where she was greeted by a friendly face.

"Hi, I'm here to see Rajat," Savi said, trying to sound confident.

The receptionist smiled and nodded. "Of course, ma'am. Let me just check if he's available."

Savi's heart skipped a beat as she waited for the receptionist to check with Rajat. What if he was busy? What if he didn't want to see her?

But before she could worry anymore, the receptionist looked up and smiled. "Rajat sir says you can go right in, ma'am."

As Savi walked towards Rajat's office, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nervous excitement. She had made an effort to dress up for him, wearing a simple yet elegant satin saree that accentuated her curves.

Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back in loose waves, framing her heart-shaped face. Her eyes, lined with a subtle layer of kohl, sparkled with anticipation.

A soft, nude lipstick colored her lips, and the vermillion-filled parting in her hair added a touch of traditional elegance to her overall look. Savi felt like a new person, transformed by her efforts to look beautiful for Rajat.

As she reached the door to Rajat's office, Savi took a deep breath, smoothed out her saree, and pushed open the door. Her eyes met Rajat's, and for a moment, time stood still.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Rajat's eyes widened in surprise as he took in Savi's transformed appearance. He was struck by her elegance and beauty, and for a moment, he forgot about the work on his laptop.

Savi's eyes met Rajat's, and she smiled softly, feeling a sense of nervousness. Rajat's gaze lingered on her face, taking in the subtle makeup and the elegant hairstyle.

As he looked at her, Rajat's expression changed from surprise to admiration, and he felt his heart swell with love and appreciation for Savi. He closed his laptop, his eyes never leaving Savi's face, and stood up, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"Savi," he said, his voice low and husky, "you look stunning."

Savi smiled a bit and set down on the couch and said, " Rajat, I bring you a lunch. You left suddenly in morning. And.... I am sorry."

Rajat's smile faltered for a moment, and he looked at Savi with a hint of surprise He stood up and set beside her. "Sorry?" he repeated, his voice softening. "What are you sorry for, Savi?"

Savi took a step closer to Rajat, her eyes cast downward. "For this morning," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. " I promise I will never bring up my past life in front of you. I don't mean to uncomfortable you."

Rajat's eyes filled with emotion as he looked at Savi. He could see the sincerity in her eyes, and he knew that she was truly sorry.

"Savi," he said, his voice filled with love and compassion. "You don't have to promise that. Your past is a part of you, and I want to support you, not avoid the topic. But I appreciate your willingness to move forward and focus on our life together."

Rajat took a step closer to Savi and gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "I love you, Savi, not despite your past, but because of who you are today. And I want to build a future with you, sai and kiaan together."

Savi's voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke, her words tumbling out in a heartfelt confession. "Rajat, I want to say it... I want to say that I love you too, but..... it felt as if ...." she said, her eyes locked onto his, filled with a deep longing.

But the words got stuck in her throat, refusing to come out. Savi's face contorted in a mixture of frustration and vulnerability, her lips trembling with emotion.

Rajat's eyes never left hers, his gaze burning with intensity as he listened to her words. He could see the sincerity in her eyes, the desperation to express her feelings.

"It's okay, Savi," Rajat whispered, his voice low and soothing. "You don't have to say it. I can see it in your eyes, feel it in the way you respond to me."

Savi's eyes welled up with tears as Rajat took a step closer to her. "My heart beats faster when you're near me," she continued, her voice cracking with emotion. "I crave your touch, your care, your attention. I feel alive when I'm with you."

Rajat's face softened, his eyes filled with compassion and love. He reached out a hand and gently brushed a strand of hair behind Savi's ear, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

"I'm here for you, Savi," Rajat whispered, his lips inches from her ear.

"Then Rajat why are you avoiding me from time to time..."

Rajat's eyebrows shot up in surprise as he sat down beside Savi on the couch. "When do I avoid you?" he asked, his voice tinged with confusion.

Savi smiled softly as she opened the lunchbox, revealing the carefully prepared meal inside. "You do, Rajat," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Sometimes, when we're together, you seem distant, preoccupied. It's like you're avoiding me, or avoiding something."

Rajat's expression turned thoughtful as he watched Savi arrange the food on the coffee table. He reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

"I'm sorry, Savi," Rajat said, his voice low and sincere. "But I barely remember that I ignored you."

" You were. Yesterday I ask you to go somewhere away from home. You put the excuse of children. And today morning when I asked you to stay with me. And even after promising me you left"

Rajat's expression turned sheepish as Savi reminded him of the previous day's events.

"Ah, Savi, I... I'm sorry," Rajat said, his voice tinged with regret. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. It's just that... I felt protective for kids."

Savi's eyes narrowed slightly, her expression a mix of understanding and gentle reprimand. "Okay, but what about today morning, You promised me you'd stay with me this morning, Rajat. But you left anyway."

Rajat sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know I promised, Savi. And I'm sorry I broke that promise. It's just... Ishaan's mention threw me off, and I needed some time to process my thoughts. And I am a jealous type of person, savi"

Savi's expression softened, her eyes filled with empathy. "I understand, Rajat. But please, next time, just talk to me, okay? Don't shut me out."

Rajat's expression transformed into a mischievous grin. "By the way, it seems my wife wants alone time, huh? Thats why complaining me for not giving her time." he said, his voice dripping with playful teasing.

Savi's cheeks flushed with a delicate pink hue as she playfully rolled her eyes. "Rajat, stop it!" she said, laughing.

Rajat chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "So, tell me, what exactly do you want to do during this alone time?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Savi's smile faltered for a moment, and she looked away, her eyes drifting to the food she had prepared. "I... I just wanted to spend some quality time with you, Rajat. No distractions, just us."

Rajat's expression softened, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. "I'd like that, Savi," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "So only spending time is your checklist , nothing else savi."

Savi's cheeks flushed again, and she looked up at Rajat with a sly smile. "Maybe a little bit of both," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rajat's eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he leaned in closer to Savi, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Oh? And what exactly did you have in mind?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Savi's smile grew wider, and she leaned in closer to Rajat, her voice taking on a flirtatious tone. "I think I'd like to rekindle some of that romance we've been missing out on," she said, her eyes locked onto Rajat's.

Rajat's eyes darkened with desire, and he wrapped his arms around Savi, pulling her close. "I think that can be arranged, but its always you who spoils our moment savi like last night." he whispered, his lips inches from hers.

Savi's cheeks flushed with a delicate pink hue as she looked up at Rajat, her eyes sparkling with mock annoyance. "Rajatttt..." she said, her voice drawn out in a playful whine. "You know I was ill."

Rajat chuckled, feeling a bit mischievous. "Ill?" he repeated, his eyebrows raised in skepticism. "You were perfectly fine when I touch you, Savi. Just a little... distracted."

Savi playfully hit Rajat on the arm, her eyes laughing. "I was not distracted," she said, her voice firm, but her eyes betraying her amusement. "I was just... conserving my energy."

Rajat grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Conserving your energy?" he repeated, his voice low and husky. "For what, exactly?"

Rajat's eyes locked onto Savi's, filled with a deep intensity. He took a step closer to her, his movements slow and deliberate. Savi's heart skipped a beat as she felt the air thicken with tension.

Rajat's face was inches from hers, his warm breath caressing her skin. Savi's lips parted slightly, her pulse racing with anticipation. She could feel the heat emanating from Rajat's body, drawing her in like a magnet.

Savi's eyes fluttered closed, her senses heightened as she waited for Rajat's next move. She felt his fingers brush against her cheek, sending shivers down her spine.

Rajat's voice was low and husky, his words barely audible. "Savi?" he whispered, his breath dancing across her skin.

Savi's eyes snapped open, her gaze locking onto Rajat's. She nodded slightly, her heart pounding in her chest. Rajat's eyes darkened with desire, and he leaned in closer, his lips inches from hers.

Savi took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling as she inhaled the scent of Rajat's cologne. Her eyes never left his, her gaze locked onto the intensity burning in his eyes.

As she exhaled, her lips brushed against Rajat's, sending sparks flying through her entire body. Rajat's eyes fluttered closed, his face tilting slightly as he deepened the kiss.

Savi's hands instinctively reached up, her fingers tangling in Rajat's hair as she pulled him closer. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the passion of the moment.

Rajat's lips moved slowly, deliberately, as if savoring the taste of Savi's mouth. Savi's heart pounded in her chest, her pulse racing with excitement. She felt like she was drowning in the depths of Rajat's eyes, and she couldn't help but wonder if she'd ever find her way back to the surface.

Rajat's eyes sparkled with delight as he gazed at Savi, his face inches from hers. "Today, I'm all yours," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "Just you and me, no distractions."

Savi's heart skipped a beat at Rajat's words, her eyes shining with excitement. "Promise?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rajat's smile grew wider, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I promise," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.
