Jisoo smiled unconsciously as she watched her five-year old boy playing on the sandbox. She may not have been the one who gave birth to him, but her unconditional love for the child was enough to identify her as a good mother.

A sudden rush of nostalgia filled her heart as she reminisced the times when this energetic toddler was still a cute little baby. He wasn't always this healthy, in fact he was sickly growing up. However, thanks to Jisoo's gentle care and attention, he got better and mightier.

"Soo!" Jisoo turned to see her friend running towards her with an excited grin. She smiled back and waved while waiting for the girl to finally reach her. "Sorry, I'm late. A parent came to complain about her child having bad grades. Turn out our terror student is an angel at home."

"It's fine. Joon is having fun with the other kids." Rosé sat beside her before raising her gaze to watch the cheerful boy in awe.

"I don't know how you do it, Soo, but you are an excellent mother," Rosé sighed. "Honestly, I adore you for this."

"Well, it wasn't easy." Jisoo flashed a smile, remembering those days when everything seemed to go against her will. She had to sacrifice a lot, almost everything, actually. But seeing how adorable and sweet the boy turned out to be, she told herself it was all worth it. "Anyway, let's go."

Jisoo called for Joon and he came running towards his mother with open arms. Taking him by the hand, the they left the park to finally have their lunch.

It didn't take them long to reach the restaurant where they frequent in. They sat on their usual table and they were about to have their orders taken when Jisoo noticed that Joon wasn't where he was supposed to be.

Meanwhile, the lost little Joon wandered around the restaurant aimlessly among the fast-paced workers. Most of them ignored him, thinking that perhaps his parents are just around the corner, while the others were simply too busy or lost in their own worlds to even notice his presence.

He wandered about for a few more minutes until he bumped into a slender woman in elegant clothings, causing the poor boy to land hard on his butt. The woman was surprised and immediately picked him up as he began to sob. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!.. Please don't cry."

Joon stood up and immediately wiped his tears. He tried his best to look strong in front of the woman and pretend he was never hurt at all. However, instead of looking brave in her eyes, he was rather cute and adorable.

"You remind me of someone," she giggled. She pulled the boy to her table so they won't block the path of the busy people. "So what were you doing all alone? Did you get separated with your parents?"

Joon nodded his head in response and the woman couldn't help not to smile. Somehow, she felt enchanted by the boy. There was this weird and familiar feeling that seemed to connect them, although she wasn't quite sure what it was. "Okay, well, what's your name, little boy?"

"Joonnie," he answered weakly, yet with great confidence for a kid. "Kim Joonsoo."

The woman felt chills flow through her entire being. Kim Joonsoo. She suddenly felt nervous and thrilled. She began suspecting Joonsoo's identity, and as much as she wanted to confirm her suspicions, she was scared. She thought for a moment and eventually let her curiosity win. "Wh-who are your parents?"

"My mom is-"

"Jisoo," Jennie continued when she saw the familiar woman rush towards them and hug the boy tighter then ever.

"Mom!" Joon yelled in excitement. Jisoo, on the other hand, almost cried in relief.

"Why did you leave without permission?! I was so worried about you!" Jisoo scolded, but her anger didn't last long as she saw how sorry the boy looked. "I'm sorry, Joonnie, but please don't do that ever again."
