Sophie's POV
All Sophie remembered was her kissing Keefe. What she didn't remember was how she got to her room and how Keefe had reacted. Sophie jumped when Fitz poked his head in.
"So your awake." Fitz said. He seemed nervous. Sophie sank lower in her bed when he came over. Fitz leaned down. Then Sophie realized what he was doing. She tried to shove him away but failed so she sent a telepathic plea to Keefe for help. Keefe Then barged into the room. When he saw what was happening he ran over and pulled Fitz off.
"What's your problem?!" Fitz yelled as he slapped Keefe.
"What's yours?!" Keefe shouted back not even phased by Fitz's slap. Fitz looked ready to come over again so Sophie got out of bed and rushed to Keefe's side. Keefe noticed and pulled her closer protectively. Fitz just stormed away. At the last possible second Fitz turned around to see Keefe and Sophie standing very close.
"Are you okay?" Keefe asked Sophie. Their foreheads were now touching.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Thanks." Sophie responded. "Keefe I'm sorr-"
"Sophie it's fine." Keefe cut her off. Then leaned in very close and kissed her softly. Fitz scoffed and left finally realizing that Sophie dumped him for his so called best friend.
I know that chapter focused on Fitz but we needed his reaction so yeah. Also special thanks to my BFF who helped me write this chapter. (She's not on Wattpad that's why I didn't tag her.)
